4. Video Data Processing

When you upload videos to our service:

  • Videos are stored temporarily in S3-compatible object storage (Cloudflare R2) for processing
  • Videos are deleted automatically shortly after processing completes
  • Video content is processed by our AI systems to generate descriptions
  • We extract key frames for analysis; we do not permanently store all video frames
  • The service may also extract sampled audio segments from the video for transcription when audio analysis modes are used. Transcript text is processed in-memory and is not stored in the portal.
  • For portal users, generated descriptions and job metadata are stored in our database so you can view your history
  • For API usage, outputs are delivered via webhook and are not stored as a hosted API archive by us

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

  • HTTPS encryption for all data transmission
  • HMAC-verified webhook communications
  • Encrypted storage for videos and personal data
  • Regular security audits and monitoring
  • Access controls and authentication mechanisms

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information and portal results for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Uploaded videos are deleted automatically shortly after processing completes. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at contact@descrideo.com.

  • Cloud Storage: S3-compatible object storage providers (e.g., Cloudflare R2) for temporary video processing

  • Payments: Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for payment processing, billing, tax handling, and receipts
  • AI Processing: Our AI infrastructure for video analysis
